One Killed in Truck Accident on S.R. 36 in Tooele, UT

Tooele, UT — May 17, 2023, one person was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 2:55 p.m. on S.R. 36 in Tooele.

Officials report the 56-year-old victim was in a Chevy Tahoe facing south attempting a left-hand turn onto Village Blvd. when it collided with a northbound dump truck. The nose of the dump truck reportedly struck the passenger side of the Tahoe.

The Tahoe driver suffered fatal injuries while the dump truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
