Dixi Montooth Killed in Truck Accident in Fallon, NV

Fallon, NV — May 12, 2023, Dixi Montooth was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 2:30 p.m. on Williams Ave. in Fallon.

Authorities report the victim's SUV was eastbound on Williams Ave. when it collided with a semi-truck that was attempting a right-hand turn to go west on Williams Ave. The collision reportedly caused the semi-truck to leak large amounts of oil or fuel on the road that responders cleaned with a gravel mixture.

Ms. Montooth suffered fatal injuries. There are no reports regarding the truck driver.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
