Jerry Humphrey Jr. Killed in Pedestrian-Car Accident in La Marque, TX

La Marque, TX — January 23, 2023, Jerry Humphrey Jr. was killed in a hit-and-run collision around 7:55 p.m. on Hwy. 3 in La Marque.

According to authorities, Mr. Humphrey Jr. was walking northeast across Hwy. 3 at the intersection with Holly St. when he was struck by a vehicle. The car then allegedly fled the scene.

Jerry Humphrey Jr. suffered fatal injuries.

No charges have been recommended at this time.
