Three Teenagers Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on F.M. 2102 in Karnes County, TX

Karnes County, TX — April 25, 2023, three teenagers, 17 and 18 years old, were injured in a single-vehicle accident around 7 p.m. on F.M. 2102 in Karnes County.

According to officials, the victims were headed east in a Ford F-250 when the truck somehow veered toward the south side, entered the grassy edge, rotated counter-clockwise, reentered F.M. 2102, slid sideways while facing west across all lanes of traffic, exited the road to the north side, and rolled over.

The 17-year-old believed to be the driver reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries and was flown to a hospital. The other two teenagers purportedly suffered minor injuries and were taken by motor vehicle to a hospital as well.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
