Ashlin Bronte Bowles, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Bryan, TX

Bryan, TX — February 21, 2023, Ashlin Bronte Bowles and another person were injured after a two-car accident at around 1:31 p.m. along Highway 6.

Authorities gave preliminary details about the crash following investigations. Their statements indicate the crash happened along the highway (Earl Rudder Freeway) at the intersection of Old Reliance Road.

According to officials, 20-year-old Ashlin Bronte Bowles was in a Toyota Highlander that was going eastbound along Old Reliance. At the Earl Rudder intersection, the Highlander and a Nissan Maxima going northbound somehow collided.

Due to the collision, Bowles and the other driver, an unidentified 67-year-old Jewett woman, had incapacitating injuries. No others were said to have been involved in the crash. The most recent statements from authorities indicate that both drivers claimed that the other ran the light, but authorities did not confirm one way or the other who they believe was at fault. No further information is currently available.
