Shirley Ann Dixon Injured in Car Accident in Garden Ridge, TX

Comal County, TX — February 15, 2023, Shirley Ann Dixon sustained injuries as the result of a car accident at around 4:15 p.m. along F.M. 2252.

According to initial details about the crash, the incident happened northeast of San Antonio in the Garden Ridge area at the intersection of F.M. 2252 and Bat Cave Road.

It appears that 66-year-old Shirley Ann Dixon was in a Lincoln SUV that was going westbound along F.M. 2252. At Bat Cave Road, police believe that a Jeep Gladiator failed to yield at the stop sign, crossing paths and colliding with Dixon's car.

Due to the collision, Dixon sustained injuries which authorities described as incapacitating. The other driver involved did not have any injuries reported. Authorities suggested that driver may have been charged for failure to yield right of way. Right now, additional details are unavailable.
