Rodrigo Ramirez Moyeja Injured in Car Accident on Lake Houston Parkway in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — February 13, 2023, Rodrigo Ramirez Moyeja was injured as the result of a two-car accident at around 7:30 a.m. along Lake Houston Parkway.

Authorities said they were called out to the area of Lake Houston Parkway and Valley Rim Drive due to the collision.

Their initial statements about the crash say that 57-year-old Rodrigo Ramirez Moyeja was the driver of a Hyundai Tucson that was going northbound along Lake Houston Pkwy. It appears Ramirez Moyeja stopped due to another vehicle that was attempting to make a turn. As Ramirez Moyeja, police say a Mitsubishi Outlander failed to control speed and crashed into the back of Ramirez Moyeja's vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Ramirez Moyeja sustained injuries described as incapacitating. No others involved were said to have sustained injuries. It appears there were recommendations from an investigating officer that the Mitsubishi driver face a charge for failure to control speed, but this and other details cannot be confirmed at this time.
