Derrick Francis Lomax Killed in Truck, Moped Accident in Greenville County, SC

Preliminary investigations showed that 51-year-old Derrick Francis Lomax was the operator of a moped that was going westbound along Toledo Street. It appears there was a dump truck further down Toledo that turned into a private driveway. After doing so, however, it appears the back end of the truck was still protruding onto Toledo. Lomax's moped crashed into that rear portion of the truck.

As a result of the collision, Lomax sustained ultimately fatal injuries. Reports did not show anyone else being injured. Right now, there is no mention of charges or citations pending. Authorities continue their investigations.
