One Injured in Truck Accident on Hwy. 395 in Hesperia, CA

Hesperia, CA — May 16, 2023, one person was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 11:05 a.m. on Hwy. 395 in Hesperia.

According to authorities, The victim was in a black Lexus headed southbound behind a semi-truck, about 300 feet north of the Main St. intersection, when it allegedly failed to control its speed and rear-ended the tractor-trailer. Photos of the crash indicate the semi-truck also suffered damage to its front bummer and the road had several vehicles traveling in both directions at the time of the crash.

The Lexus driver reportedly suffered serious injuries and was transported to a medical center.

Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
