William Madrid Wislar, 5 Injured in Car Accident in Midland, TX

Midland, TX — February 24, 2023, William Madrid Wislar and five others were possibly injured following a car accident at around 9:02 p.m. on Gist Avenue.

According to initial details about the crash, the incident occurred near the intersection of Gist Avenue and Atlanta Street.

Officials reported that 38-year-old William Madrid Wislar was in a Ford pickup that was going westbound along Gist. A Chevy SUV was said to be in the westbound lane parked along the side of the road. For reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time, the two vehicles somehow collided.

As a result of the collision, details suggest that a 7-year-old child in the Chevy had incapacitating injuries while a 15-year-old had non-incapacitating injuries. Wislar, the other driver, and two people in Wislar's vehicle were said to have possible injuries, but their conditions weren't confirmed. At this time, additional details surrounding the accident are unavailable pending further investigations.
