Alliana Cervantes Luna Injured in Possible Drunk Driving Accident in Midland, TX

Midland, TX — May 10, 2023, Alliana Cervantes Luna was injured by a possibly drunk driver around 5:53 p.m. on Rankin Hwy. in Midland.

According to officials, the victim was southbound on Ranking Hwy. in a Chevy Equinox when a Ford F-150 allegedly failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of her vehicle.

The F-150 was allegedly exiting a private driveway just south of W. Wolcott Ave. attempting to make a left turn and struck Ms. Luna's Equinox on the driver's side of the hood.

Alliana Cervantes Luna reportedly suffered serious injuries, while the F-150 driver was reportedly injured.

Police recommended charging the F-150 driver with failure to yield the right of way and for driving without a license. The F-150 driver allegedly admitted to drinking, but no toxicology results have been released.
