One Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on Williamson Rd. in Hood County, TX

Hood County, TX — May 7, 2023, a driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 1:02 a.m. on Williamson Rd. in Hood County.

According to authorities, the victim's Chevy Silverado was southbound about miles south of Granbury, TX and just north of Will Waters Rd. when his vehicle somehow veered toward its driverside, left the road, and struck a tree. Sources report the road has no curbs or markings, the tree is less than a foot away from the road's edge, and there are no lights for the road.

The driver purportedly suffered serious injuries and was transported to a medical center.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
