Rebecca Blevins, Matthew Montez, Three Injured in Car Accident in San Angelo, TX

San Angelo, TX — May 6, 2023, Rebecca Blevins, Matthew Montez, and three others were injured in a car accident around 11:07 p.m. on S. Bryant Blvd. in San Angelo.

According to authorities, Ms. Blevins and a 7-year-old were passengers in a Kia Sorento that was eastbound on S. Jackson St. while Mr. Montez and his passenger were in Chevy C10 headed north on S. Bryant Blvd.

The two vehicles reportedly collided in the intersection. The nose of the Chevy C10 purportedly struck the front passenger side of the Sorento.

Officials report the Kia Sorento driver and Rebecca Blevins suffered serious injuries, the 7-year-old suffered minor injuries, and the two occupants in the C10 suffered minor injuries. All five individuals were purportedly taken to a hospital.

Currently, authorities have not confirmed which vehicle had the right of way or any possible causes for the accident.
