Hayden Brooks Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Corpus Christi, TX

Corpus Christi, TX — May 13, 2023, Hayden Brooks was fatally injured following a motorcycle accident at around 5:01 p.m. along Yorktown Boulevard.

Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department said that the crash took place in the 6600 block of Yorktown Boulevard, which is near the intersection of Rodd Field Road.

Officials said that a motorcycle was traveling along Yorktown at the time. Nueces County officials identified the rider of the motorcycle as 22-year-old Hayden Brooks. While going along Yorktown, the motorcycle somehow went off the roadway and crashed into a pole, ejecting Brooks.

Details suggest that Brooks had a helmet on at the time of the crash, but it appears Brooks's injuries ultimately proved fatal. Reports at this time do not identify anyone else being involved in the crash, which is currently described as a single-vehicle accident. No further information surrounding the crash can be confirmed at this time pending further investigations.
