Russell James Young Jr., Aldo Jose Desantiago Injured in Truck Accident on 118 Freeway in Ventura, CA

Ventura, CA — May 9, 2023, Russell James Young Jr. and Aldo Jose Desantiago were injured in a truck accident around 5:30 p.m. on 118 Freeway in Ventura.

Sources report Mr. Young Jr. was in a Lexus LS headed eastbound while Mr. Desantiago was in a semi-truck heading west when the two vehicles collided head-on.

Authorities reportedly had to extract Russell James Young Jr. from his vehicle as it was caught in the semi-truck and Aldo Jose Desantiago was allegedly ejected from his truck during the crash.

Mr. Young Jr. was purportedly air-lifted to a hospital and Mr. Desantiago was transported by motor vehicle to a hospital.

Officials have not released the cause of the crash.
