Curtis Andrew Daniels Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Tyler, TX

Tyler, TX — May 11, 2023, Curtis Andrew Daniels was injured following an 18-wheeler accident at around 4:04 a.m. along State Loop 323.

Preliminary details about the crash indicate that the incident happened in the area of Loop 323 and West Gentry Parkway/U.S. 69.

According to officials, 38-year-old Curtis Andrew Daniels was in a Toyota Tacoma traveling westbound along Loop 323. It appears that a semi-trailer attempted to turn onto westbound lanes, reportedly "without making sure the lane was safe to change into." As a result, the pickup and the tractor-trailer collided.

As a result of the collision, Daniels sustained injuries said to be incapacitating. No other injuries were reported. It appears there were recommended citations for unsafe lane change stemming from the truck wreck. Right now, additional details surrounding the crash are unavailable.
