Steven Anthony Hernandez Killed in Car Accident at Joe Battle & Edgemere in El Paso, TX

UPDATE (May 23, 2023): Additional details about the crash identified the victim and indicate that one person has been arrested. Authorities said that 28-year-old Steven Anthony Hernandez was the victim who died due to the accident. The other driver was apparently arrested following the accident for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Details suggest there is a pending Intoxicated Manslaughter charge. No further information can be confirmed at this time.

El Paso, TX — May 21, 2023, one person sustained fatal injuries following a car accident at around 2:53 a.m. at Joe Battle and Edgemere.

Investigators with the El Paso Police Department said that the crash took place at Joe Battle Boulevard/Highway 375 and Edgemere Boulevard.
