10-year-old, Woman Killed, Others Hurt in Car Accident on Dyer Steet in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX — May 21, 2023, a child and a woman were killed and others were injured after a two-vehicle accident at around 3:00 a.m. on Dyer Street.

Preliminary information about the deadly wreck was provided by El Paso Police Department authorities. Their statements indicated that the incident occurred at the Dyer Street and Woodrow Bean Transmountain (TX-375) intersection.

According to officials, two men, two women, and four children were said to be riding in a Ford F-150 which was traveling southbound on Dyer Street. At the intersection, the F-150 made a left turn. While turning, the F-150 and a Ford F-250 traveling northbound collided.

As a result of the collision, a woman and a 10-year-old from the F-150 sustained fatal injuries. The other occupants and the driver of the F-250 had unspecified injuries and were taken to the hospital. Right now, the exact factors contributing to the crash are unclear. Investigations at this time are ongoing.
