Pedestrian Killed in CapMetro Train Accident off Clarkson Avenue in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — May 19, 2023, a pedestrian was fatally injured following a CapMetro train accident at around 9:45 a.m. near Clarkson Avenue.

Initial details about the fatal collision say that it happened off the intersection of Interstate 35 and Clarkson Avenue. The incident resulted in several hours of delays, according to statements from emergency officials in the time immediately following the deadly collision.
