James Williams Killed in Truck Accident on Old Statesville Rd. in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte, NC — May 6, 2023, James Williams was killed in a collision with several vehicles, including a semi-truck, around 2:45 a.m. Old Statesville Rd. in Charlotte.

According to sources, the victim was in a Lexus GS350 headed west when a semi-truck reportedly pulled out of a private driveway and the two vehicles collided. The Lexus reportedly struck the driver-side of the first of the semi's two trailers. The Lexus then purportedly continued forward, exited the road, struck a fence, and then collided with three unoccupied, parked vehicles.

Mr. Williams suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
