Three Killed in Truck Accident in Elmore County, ID

Elmore County, ID — May 4, 2023, three people were killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 9:57 a.m. on Hwy. 167 in Elmore County.

According to officials, the victims were northbound, just south of Simco Rd., in a Toyota Tundra while a Peterbilt semi-truck was southbound when the two vehicles collided head-on. The driver of the Tundra, his adult passenger in the front seat, and the child in the back seat all suffered fatal injuries in the accident.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
