Several Lacrosse Players Injured in School Buss Accident on Route 63 in Goshen, CT

Goshen, CT — May 13, 2023, several girls on a junior varsity lacrosse team were injured in an accident around 1:30 p.m. on Route 63 in Goshen.

According to officials, two buses from a boarding school in Washington, CT were northbound on the way to a game when the front bus collided head-on with a Nissan Rouge. The first bus allegedly attempted an evasive maneuver, overturned onto its driver-side, and collided with the driver-side of an SUV.

It is unclear if the second bus then struck the overturned bus or was involved in the accident in some other way.

Officials report passengers in both buses and the SUV were taken to the hospital and many more passengers were treated on site.

There are no other details about this crash at this time.
