Pedestrian Injured in Truck Accident on San Pedro Ave. in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — January 4, 2023, a pedestrian was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 10:13 a.m. on San Pedro Ave. in San Antonio.

According to authorities, a wheelchair-bound pedestrian was crossing San Pedro Ave. in a designated crosswalk at the intersection of San Pedro Ave. and Cypress St. while a Peterbilt was stopped at this intersection facing north waiting for a green light. When the light turned green the Peterbilt then moved forward and struck the pedestrian who was reportedly directly in front of the semi.

The pedestrian purportedly suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for care.
