Briseda Sauceda, Karime Vargas, David Vences, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Harrison County, TX

Harrison County, TX — April 23, 2023, Briseda Sauceda, Karime Vargas, David Vences, and another were injured due to a car accident after midnight on Rayburn Road.

Authorities released initial details surrounding the crash, which they described as a single-vehicle wreck at approximately 12:54 a.m. It appears the crash occurred near the intersection of Rayburn Road (County Road 2116) and Owens Corner Road.

Details right now suggest that 18-year-old Briseda Sauceda, 18-year-old Karime Vargas, and 19-year-old David Vences were passengers in a vehicle going along Rayburn. The driver of the vehicle was said to be an 18-year-old boy. According to officials, the vehicle ran off the side of Rayburn before then crashing into a tree.

Sauceda, Vargas, Vences, and the driver of the vehicle were all said to have apparently incapacitating injuries. At this time, authorities allege that alcohol was involved in the crash. These allegations cannot be confirmed pending more thorough investigations.
