Robert Martin Jr. Killed in ATV Accident in Eastland County, TX

Eastland County, TX — January 14, 2023, Robert Martin Jr. was fatally injured as the result of an ATV accident at around 6:42 p.m. along County Road 376.

According to public information released by authorities, the fatal accident happened in the area of County Road 376 and Farm-to-Market 569.

Preliminary details suggest that 53-year-old Robert Martin Jr. was the driver of a Honda four-wheeler that had been traveling along eastbound County Road 376. For reasons which are not confirmed at this time, the ATV lost control on the gravel roadway, causing it to veer and flip over. Due to the rollover, Martin was ejected from the vehicle.

As a result of the accident, Martin succumbed to ultimately fatal injuries. Current details do not show that anyone else was involved in the accident. There is also no confirmed cause for the deadly crash. Investigations into factors surrounding the accident are ongoing.
