Esmeralda Barron Injured in Alleged Hit-and-Run Accident in Pasadena, TX

Pasadena, TX — February 4, 2023, Esmeralda Barron was injured in an alleged hit-and-run accident around 10:28 p.m. on Spencer Hwy. in Pasadena.

Officials report the victim's Toyota Rav4 was stopped at a red light facing east at the intersection of E. Spencer Hwy. and Strawberry Rd. when she was allegedly rear-ended by an eastbound Ford Econoline.

The impact purportedly forced Ms. Barron's Rav4 across the entire intersection and then off the roads toward the southeast of the intersection and into a utility pole. The Ford Econoline was reportedly disabled in the north-facing left turn lane on Strawberry Rd.

The Ford driver then purportedly fled the scene on foot, and police are currently requesting help from the community to locate the driver of the Ford Econoline.

Ms. Esmeralda Barron reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries and was taken to a hospital by EMS.
