One Killed, One Injured in Truck-Train Accident in Rosedale, MD

Rosedale, MD — May 10, 2023, two semi-trucks were involved in a collision with a train around 2:19 p.m. near 68th St. and Lake Dr. in Rosedale.

According to officials, the train struck two semi-trucks, carrying one of the cabs down the train tracks for several feet. One of the truck drivers was fatally injured and the other was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Authorities say there were two previous truck-train accidents at this same crossing before, but they have not said if there are any issues with the crossing arms or lights.
