One Killed, One Injured in Truck Accident in the Bronx, NY

Bronx, NY — May 10, 2023, one person was killed and another was injured in a truck accident around 11:30 p.m. at Drake St. in the Bronx.

Officials report the victims were in a Honda CR-V when their vehicle allegedly struck the back of a stopped semi-truck at the intersection of Drake St. and Spofford Ave.

One of the occupants suffered fatal injuries and the other was reportedly taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
