17-year-old & Ernesto Martin Injured in Truck Accident on Hwy. 60 in Hospers, IA

Hospers, IA — May 8, 2023, a 17-year-old and Ernesto Martin were injured in a truck accident around 4 p.m. on Highway 60 in Hospers.

Authorities report the victims were driving east on 400th St. in a Toyota Corolla when their vehicle collided with a southbound Peterbilt semi-truck.

The two occupants in the Toyota Corolla were airlifted for further medical attention. The severity of their injuries is unknown. The truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
