One Killed in Truck Accident on I-95 in Palm Beach County, FL

Palm Beach County, FL — May 9, 2023, one person was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 5:30 a.m. on I-95 in Palm Beach County.

According to authorities, a Dodge Caravan and a Freightliner were both headed in the same direction when the Dodge Caravan allegedly rear-ended the Freightliner. A Toyota Camry that was behind the Dodge Caravan then allegedly attempted an evasive maneuver but still struck the Freightliner.

The driver of the Dodge Caravan suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
