Verneisha Shwoul Scott Injured in Truck Accident on Lyndon B. Johnson Fwy. in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — May 6, 2023, Verneisha Shwoul Scott was injured in a truck accident around 10:23 a.m. on Lyndon B. Johnson Fwy. in Dallas.

Authorities report Ms. Scott's Infinifti passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on Lyndon B. Johnson Fwy. (I-20) in the leftmost lane when the trailer of a semi-truck reportedly entered her lane and struck the passenger side of her vehicle. This collision purportedly forced the Infiniti to spin out of control.

Ms. Verneisha Shwoul Scott was reportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Officials say the semi-truck was forced into Ms. Scott's lane when it was struck by a Hyundai Elantra that allegedly experienced a steering issue and struck the passenger side of the semi.
