One Injured in Single-Vehicle Truck Accident in Hunt County, TX

Hunt County, TX — May 6, 2023, a truck driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 7:55 a.m. on Interstate 30 in Hunt County.

Sources report the victim's Freightliner was westbound in the left, inner lane when the semi-truck somehow veered toward the driver's side, entered the median, and rolled over onto its driver's side. Officials report the driver alleged the truck's left front steering axle experienced a tired blow out which caused him to lose control.

The truck driver purportedly suffered serious injuries.
