Maria Galvez Injured in Car Accident on Martin Street in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — April 16, 2023, Maria Galvez was injured as the result of a car accident at around 3:27 a.m. along Martin Street.

Authorities with the San Antonio Police Department released initial details about the car wreck. It apparently happened at the intersection of Martin Street and NW 21st Street, west of Downtown.

According to currently available information, 28-year-old Maria Galvez was apparently a passenger in a Ford Explorer traveling westbound along Martin Street. While approaching the NW 21st Street intersection, the Ford Explorer crashed into a Nissan Rogue that was parked along the north side of the road. While unclear, it appears one of those vehicles then hit a Chevy parked off the side of the road.

Galvez was said to have incapacitating injuries as a result of the collision. No one else was listed as being injured. Right now, authorities said alcohol could be a factor in the crash. This requires further information to confirm definitively. No further information is currently available.
