Robert Chavarria Injured in Alleged Drunk Driving Accident in Beeville, TX

Beeville, TX — May 2, 2023, Robert Chavarria was injured by an allegedly drunk driver around 5:35 p.m. on W. Houston St. in Beeville.

According to officials, the victim was facing north in a Ford Ranger, stopped at a red light at the intersection of W. Houston St. and S. Washington St. when he was allegedly rear-ended by a northbound F-150. The collision purportedly pushed the Ford Ranger into the path of an eastbound semi-truck and its trailer.

Mr. Chavarria reportedly suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
