Anthony Hunt Killed in Truck Accident on Route 105 in Enosburgh, VT

Enosburgh, VT — May 8, 2023, Anthony Hunt was killed in a collision with a semi-truck in the morning on Route 105 in Enosburgh.

According to officials, the victim was in a Jeep headed in the opposite direction of a Jeffrey Jewitt Trucking tractor-trailer when the two vehicles collided head-on. The Jeep crossover was reportedly severely damaged and the oil tank trailer may have fallen onto the rear of the Jeep after the trailer and the crossover veered off the road into a small ditch. The semi-truck cab reportedly veered off the road in the opposite direction of its trailer and the Jeep crossover.

Mr. Hunt suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

The road was closed for several hours while authorities worked to clear the devastation. Officials have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
