One Injured in Truck Accident on Long Island Expy. in Jericho, NY

Jericho, NY — May 8, 2023, a driver was injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 6:17 a.m. on Long Island Expy. in Jericho.

According to authorities, a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck were heading west approaching Exit 41N when the semi-truck somehow veered out of its lane and struck the passenger vehicle. The collision reported forced the semi-truck off the road where it then overturned onto its passenger side and spilled a large amount of fuel.

Authorities did not report what happened after to the passenger vehicle after the collision however the driver of that vehicle reportedly suffered minor injuries. The are no reports regarding the truck driver.
