One Injured in Truck Accident near S. Midkiff Rd. on I-20 in Midland, TX

Midland, TX — May 4, 2023, one person was injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 10:12 a.m. on Interstate 20 in Midland.

According to authorities, the victim's Ford F-350 and a Freightliner semi-truck were heading west toward the S. Midkiff Rd. overpass, in separate lanes, prior to the accident. Officials say the F-350 was in the left lane when it somehow began to veer toward its driver's side. This caused the F-350 to allegedly sideswipe the cab of the semi-truck, then leave the road, and then overturn.

The driver of the Ford F-350 was transported to a medical center with purportedly incapacitating injuries.
