One Injured in Single-Vehicle Truck Accident in Mansfield, TX

Mansfield, TX — May 2, 2023, one person was injured in a single-vehicle truck accident around 7:15 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 287 in Mansfield.

Sources report the Peterbilt cement mixer truck was southbound when its passenger side rear tire of the stringer axle blew. The popped tire reportedly caused the truck to veer toward the driver's side, enter the grassy median, and then overturn.

The driver was reportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
