Andrew Ortega Injured in Truck Accident on Pendale Rd. in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX — May 1, 2023, Andrew Ortega and two others were injured in a collision with an 18-wheeler around 12:31 p.m. on Pendale Rd. in El Paso.

According to officials, Mr. Ortega was driving a Dodge Challenger, with one passenger in it, southwest on Pedale Rd. in the left lane neat to a Ford Transit also going southwest. The Transit then allegedly struck the passenger side of the Challenger.

Officials report Mr. Ortega was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, his front seat passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and the transit driver was transported with possible injuries.
