Chaitez Sexton Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX — May 16, 2023, Chaitez Sexton was fatally injured due to a hit-and-run accident at around 1:45 a.m. along the I-35W service road.

Preliminary details about the crash said that it happened near the intersection of I-35W and East Rosedale Street.

According to officials with the Fort Worth Police Department, investigators identified Chaitez Sexton as a pedestrian that was walking on the I-35W service road at the time. While walking on the service road, it appears that a vehicle struck Sexton. That vehicle then left the scene of the accident.

Sexton sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The driver involved has not been identified at this time. A description for the suspect vehicle is not currently available to the public. Authorities continue to search for the suspect driver, and no further information can be confirmed at this time.
