Cameron Scott Griffith Injured in Truck Accident in Lubbock County, TX

UPDATE (May 15, 2023): Details from authorities identified the man injured in the truck wreck as 54-year-old Cameron Scott Griffith. Right now, additional details cannot be confirmed.

Lubbock County, TX — May 15, 2023, one person was injured as the result of a commercial truck accident at around 11:30 a.m. along U.S. Highway 62.

According to initial details about the crash, the incident happened at the U.S. 62 and F.M. 1585 intersection outside of Wolfforth.

Authorities with the Texas Department of Public Safety said that the incident involved a cement truck, a box truck, and a car. It appears that the car was turning onto the highway from F.M. 1585. While turning, the car and the cement truck crashed. This then sent the car into the path of a box truck, and those vehicles collided, as well.

Due to the collision, the driver of the car had possibly serious injuries. It appears neither of the other two drivers had reported injuries. Police have not yet released specific factors surrounding the crash.
