Howard County, TX — May 12, 2023, Jaime Romero Alvarado was killed following a semi-truck accident that happened along Highway 350.

Preliminary details about the fatal truck wreck were provided by Texas DPS officials.

According to their statements, 35-year-old Jaime Romero Alvarado was in a vehicle going northbound along Highway 350. In southbound lanes was a semi-truck. That semi-truck apparently lost control, causing the semi to go into oncoming lanes. That's where the truck then crashed head-on into Alvarado's vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Alvarado sustained fatal injuries. Reports at this time do not mention any other injuries resulting from the crash. They also make no mention of potential charges or citations. It appears roads were wet at the time, but the official cause of the crash is not clear at this time.
