Two Injured in Car-Train Accident on Jackson Ave. in Waco, TX

Waco, TX — March 2, 2023, two people were injured in a collision between a car and a train in the evening on Jackson Ave. in Waco.

Sources report a train struck a passenger vehicle near Jackson Ave. and S 2nd St. The Train conductor and the driver both reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials have not released what factors lead up to this accident. The train crossing does have crossing arms and warning lights, but it is unknown if those were working at the time of the crash. Additionally, it is unknown if the train sounded its horn before crossing the road intersection.
