Ricky Batten Killed in Truck Accident on I-664 in Chesapeake, VA

Chesapeake, VA — March 11, 2023, Ricky Batten was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 11:3 a.m. on I-664 in Chesapeake.

Officials report the victim was northbound on I-664 in a Peterbilt semi-trick when he rear-ended a stationary Freightliner semi-truck. Mr. Batten suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

Police reportedly charged the driver of the Freightliner with stopping and sleeping on the interstate.
