Savannah Alyssa Marie Tey Injured in Alleged Hit-and-run Accident in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — February 15, 2023, Savannah Tey was injured following an alleged hit-and-run accident that happened at around 11:29 p.m. on Loop 494.

Harris County officials provided new information about an accident they say happened in the Kingwood area off of Loop 494 and Sorters McClellan Road.

According to police officials, Savannah Tey was said to be the driver of a Kia Forte which was traveling northbound along Loop 494. Ahead of Tey, it appears that a Dodge Challenger came out of the parking lot of a nearby bar. The Dodge entered the path of Tey's vehicle, allegedly failing to yield, and the vehicles collided. Authorities say the Dodge driver then fled the scene.

Tey sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Police say there is a suspect who has a pending charge for failure to stop and render aid as of May 9. Additional details about the accident and potential additional charges are pending further investigations.
