Jose Concepcion Huerta Killed in Truck Accident in Karnes County, TX

Karnes County, TX — April 25, 2023, Jose Concepcion Huerta was killed in a truck accident around 10:21 a.m. on Hwy. 72 in Karnes County.

According to officials, the victim was in a southbound Chevy C1500 attempting to cross Hwy. 72 and continue on C.R. 329 when his vehicle was struck by a westbound Peterbilt semi-truck. Mr. Huerta was reportedly taken to a hospital but later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
