One Killed, One Injured in Truck Accident on F.M. 969 in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — May 14, 2023, one person was killed and another person was injured following a truck accident at around 5:00 p.m. on F.M. 969.

According to information from the Austin-Travis County EMS said that emergency personnel were on scene at approximately 5:31 p.m. off the corner of F.M. 969 and Imperial Drive North. The exact circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.

Details in the news indicate that the crash involved at least two vehicles. One was a four door pickup truck and the other was a gray pickup truck with a tool box in the tailgate. Somehow, the vehicles collided with one another.

This resulted in two people sustaining apparently serious injuries. One of those people died due to their injuries. Reports at this time have not identified the victims. The cause of the crash also remains unclear at this time pending further investigations.
