Cesar Augusto Gevaver Injured by Alleged Drunk Driver on Beechnut St. in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — April 21, 2023, Cesar Augusto Gevaver was injured by an alleged drunk driver around 10:18 p.m. on Beechnut St. in Houston.

According to authorities, the victim's Nissan Altima was eastbound attempting a left-hand turn to go north on W. Sam Houston Pkwy. when it was struck by a westbound Ram 1500 that allegedly failed to stop at a red light. The Ram 1500 purportedly hit the passenger side door of the Altima. The collision then reportedly forced both vehicles out of the intersection toward the northwest where the Altima's driver's side then struck a light pole.

Mr. Augusto Gevaver was reportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries while the Ram 1500 driver was purportedly uninjured.

Police recommended charging the Ram 1500 driver with Intoxication Assault.
