David Peña Injured in Car Accident on Airline Dr. in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — April 14, 2023, David Peña was injured in a motor vehicle accident around 10:10 p.m. on Airline Dr. in Harris County.

Officials report the victim was in a Ford Fusion when they collided head-on with Ford F-350 that was pulling a trailer. The cash was reportedly just north of Carby Rd. but it is unclear how the head-on collision occurred. Sources report a witness alleged one of the drivers was a wrong-way driver and did not have its headlights on, however, it is unknown if that is accurate or which vehicle the witness accused.

Mr. Peña reportedly suffered serious injuries and the Ford F-350 driver reportedly suffered possible injuries. Both drivers were taken to a medical center.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
