Oscar Benitez Jr. Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on Dallas North Tollway in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — April 13, 2023, Oscar Benitez Jr. was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 4:35 a.m. on the Dallas North Tollway in Dallas.

Authorities report the victim was southbound in a Jeep Grand Cherokee in the farthest right lane when his vehicle somehow left its lane of traffic, struck the right-side guard rail, and entered into a rollover. During the roll, the Jeep reportedly struck a street sign and a light pole before rolling back onto the tollway.

Mr. Benitez Jr. purportedly suffered serious injuries and was transported to a medical center.

Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
